Who is Flagship? Formerly HomePort, Flagship was purchased by the Virgin Islands Charteryacht League in the late 1980's and has grown to be one of the premier clearinghouses / central agents in the Caribbean. Flagship, Inc. is operated not by an owner but by a volunteer Board of Governors, comprised of working yacht owners and Captains. All members of the Board of Governors are members of the Virgin Islands Charteryacht League (VICL). The VICL is a non-profit agency whose mission is to promote tourism in the Caribbean, through the promotion of crewed term yacht charters.
